The total meeting space, as remodeled in 2012, covers 4,600 m2 (50,000 sq ft). The beautiful building is protected as category A listed for being “an outstanding example of the late 18th century public building, continuing its original use”

Dovecot Studios is a one hundred year old tapestry studio, now homed in a beautifully renovated Victorian swimming pool in the heart of Edinburgh. This versatile venue is able to accommodate a broad range of events, from meetings and conferences, to dinners, weddings, receptions and cultural events. Since 2008 Dovecot Studios has been residing in the refurbished Infirmary Street Baths in central Edinburgh, which gives a new life and purpose to what was a derelict building.
As well as housing the Studio’s Tapestry Studio, Dovecot’s Infirmary Street home now includes a cafe, shop, event hire spaces and three exhibition galleries.
It now employs five weavers on a full-time basis, including two apprentice weavers.
Dovecot works to commission, collaborating with architects, interior designers, museum curators and private collectors as well as putting on exhibitions and going on tour.
It’s an incredible and unique venue in a very old part of the City, ideal for special occasions and events.
